Location and friendly staff
Double bed we had this year was fairly small and it was quite noisy in the night

I requested a room with a shower but didn't get one. A bath mat was supplied quickly for use in the bath for safety.

Breakfast was okay but there were intermittent problems with the coffee machines & the sides needed wiping down through service, cereal was everywhere. The staff were friendly & chatty. Well sited for shopping & the Barbican đź‘Ť
The parking was weird - great to have the car park next door but the entrance was so easy to miss, had to go all the way round & found it on the 2nd attempt!

Air con in the room was a pleasant change from the temperature outside. The staff at the front desk were very good. Area was excellent for visiting the Barbican,
The bathroom was a little tired.
