It was close to Edinburgh and Glasgow to travel too.
The beds were a bit soft and hard to sleep on.

Good location on high st. Very clean. Comfy room. Staff helpful.
The noise. We were right above an abba tribute. The room was vibrating until 1am which would’ve been great if we were there to party …. but we were up at 5:45 for a hike 🫣 also our window didn’t close and the smoking area was right outside. Staff did apologise in advance on booking in and looked for another room for us, but they were fully booked.

Great location for what we needed
TV and hairdryer did not work. Bedding had a musty smell. Also the shower did not stay in place so could only use the top shower.
I called the property before to explain why we were staying and check in time (charity walk and we were leaving at 6.20am) they did not inform us that they had live music on in the bar until 1 am until we arrived for check in. The music according to the staff would be on but shouldn’t cause us any issues, however the music was very noisy and heard every song that was played word for word, we heard the hoover and taps on and a door banged during the night. We did try to shut the door but unable to do so.
