Beautiful location with mountain view and into heart of Ambleside town. Good continental breakfast.

Great location in Ambleside.
Comfy and spacious room. Fabulous powerful walk-in shower.
Breakfast was perfect for us - continental with lots of choice.
Friendly helpful staff.

The location was excellent and so was the continental breakfast. The place was very clean and the hosts were very friendly. Parking was available.
We had a room where the curtains didn't close properly so light came in and it made it more difficult to sleep. Another problem was you couldn't get the main channels on the television- the message came up 'No signal' which was quite annoying.( This did get fixed for us when we mentioned it at reception).

Breakfast quality was good. Service was efficient, cleaning up quickly when people left.
Tables were not covered. Cutlery had to be collected from side table. Breakfast started quite late 0800. Not much choice.
