The position of the hotel was excellent. The small town of Zumaia was super and the natural environment withing the Flysch coast was amazing.

The price-quality ratio wasn’t good enough: too small room, everyday cleaning not guaranteed, missing enough hanging hooks in the bedroom and in the bathroom, cleaning an ld maintenance (eg.: the aircon in the restaurant was leaking water on the floor for days)

Good hotel in a fantastic location for viewing the coast.

Staff were a little brusque on checking in. There were no restaurant/bar facilities available which was disappointing after a hard days walking. Spa/hydro facilities are extra & have to be booked in advance, not great when only staying the one night. Reception staff did not seem interested in promoting these facilities and referred to the ‘information in the room’ which was a page with pricing.

Great location Comfortable bed light filled room Some staff were nice, but not all.

Breakfast was very limited Old tired hotel that needs renovation Shower head was in the bath - broken from the wall and difficult to use No tea/coffee facilities in the room - we would have expected this for the cost of the room No toiletries provided One star hotel so I guess that says it all.
