Very friendly staff
No air conditioning. There is no reserved hotel car parking ; instead there is public parking very close which is fine provided there are no church services , including midnight mass!!

Family owned and operated. Outstanding view over lake Orta. Excellent restaurant. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking at a nearby church. Very friendly staff.
There was no fridge in the room - owner let me use the bar's fridge.
There was no AC and the available fan was OK in late May. I am afraid the fan will not be enough in July-August.

The view form the room was wonderful. Not only the lake Orta, but also an unexpected bonus, the snowed Mt. Rosa massif on the horizon, above the lake. There is a free parking lot close to the hotel and the locality of Ameno is quiet and beautiful.
The bathroom was a little narrow, but it was ok.

Wonderful view from the room, terrace and restaurant. Friendly helpful staff. Food was superb at dinner. Good breakfast too. Plentiful parking a very short walk from hotel.
