Fantastic location and great communication with staff. As others have said, the stairs are steep and would not recommend for anyone with difficulty carrying bags up and down. As with most hotels, you can hear other guests enter and exit the neighboring room, but it is otherwise a quiet and comfortable stay in a prime location.

Such a beautiful property with lots of character in an excellent location just the other side of the river with lots of good reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Everything was very clean and the welcome pack was an extra bonus. The stairs up to our room definitely kept us fit especially in the heat.
The staff were very friendly although we arrived after reception was closed it was easy to access the hotel and room. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Florence.
Nothing. Although the stairs were hard work in the heat the character of the property and the suit of armour half way up made up for it.
