Owner Luca is a gentleman, very helpful and checking regularly how everything is. We arrived late (+30€) and expected a staffed reception but there was a nice young man to let us in and that was it - practical enough.
Great location (avoid the restaurants downstairs) with a view on the palace, great breakfast service at the nearby bar. Beds are fine, linnen service impeccable, wifi ok, just the toilet needed maintenance.
Some cups and water was all we missed but that was solved with the nearby minimarket, who did give us some coins that were not Euros.
Hot tip: go up to Trattoria Boboli for excellent dinner without pretence.
