Comfortable spacious rooms, with convenient kitchenettes (mini fridge, microwave, sink). Comfortable bed, easy to adjust heating to your liking - could open top of window for fresh air. Good blackout curtains with some lighter sheer mesh curtains for privacy on the ground floor. I was in a private room with shared bathroom - acceptable, clean, shared stalls - one toliet, two showers, always available as needed. I was at Guesthouse Andrea, check-in and breakfast were a few houses over at Guesthouse Aurora - very easy, not an issue. Excellent breakfast, and larger kitchen and lounge open with coffee/hot water and tea for use anytime (including milk/sugar). Excellent location for easy walk to downtown Reykjavik, but quiet at night. Convenient to bus stop 8 for tour pickups.
Very loud doors/locks; needed dish soap in rooms as none was given. Note bath towels not provided by default, but gladly given by request.

Location and free parking close
Photos misleading; I felt like I was back in a student residence. Basic breakfast, breakfast area is depressing, everything is not so clean, poor aesthetics, poor finish, far too expensive, completely impersonal.
