This was a great location for our first time in Italy-Lake Como. We chose this area on an extension from our cruise and only needed to stay 2 days so wanted convenience to get in and out easily. The location was close to many restaurants and shops. We were able to easily navigate to the ferry to explore Varenna & Bellagio as well.
The room was large, quiet and exactly what we needed to relax.

Smooth communication with the host and easy check in. Large room beautifully furnished with vintage furniture, enormous marble bathroom, water, coffee and prosecco.

The family who manages Al Porticciolo di Sant'Agostino are so sweet and the bathroom is incredible. They set up the portable crib for us to make our stay with baby comfortable. They even provided a bottle of wine! Above and beyond.
We wish the pillows were more comfortable and we recommend putting carpet pads down to stop the carpets by the bed from sliding all over the place.

The location is perfect: right next to the lake and yet quiet in a traditional building. The room was big with a nice seating area and tea/coffee/fridge. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean with authentic furnishings and decoration.
As it is an old building the water pressure is a bit on the low side but that’s unavoidable and it was perfectly ok for showers etc. A large bathroom too with nice toiletries provided.
