Location is great including a view of the lake
Somewhat noisy from street level noise at night.

Stefano went above and beyond in every sense. Great location, fabulous room, comfy bed and tasteful decor, and a fantastic bathroom with both a great shower and an excellent luxuriant bath - it was a treat. Usually places have a pitiful bath if any, so this was a real treat to be sipping a glass of fizz in a nice bath then hop into a comfy bed.
Stefano was really easy to communicate with, available and super friendly. Honestly, I've family in Brunate (the village that looks down on Como) so know the area well, and I think that was a real treat and great value. I'd happily come here again in a heartbeat.

Location and friendly host
A bit less flexibility with checkin and checkout as the host needs to come. But he is very flexible

The location was wonderful. The property was very secure. The bathroom was large and remodeled. Restaurants close by along with the ferry service to travel across lake Como. A bottle of wine along with bottled water was available in a small refrigerator in the room. I like booking small hotels that provide great service. I asked and received a list of restaurant choices in the area.
This applies to me personally and I probably would not have booked this location, if I had known that the bed had a soft memory foam type mattress. I prefer a firm mattress for an old back. The type of air conditioning in this unit could barely keep up at the end of May and not sure if it could during the month of July and August. Building restrictions is the problem not the owner. If you like to sleep on the warm side, it may be just fine.
