Extremely friendly host Nargiz warmly greeted us with her 3 month old dog. Rooms were clean affordable and comfortable. Two bathrooms so it never took long to wait for a hot shower. The next morning Nargiz gave us a bunch of apples, bread and cheese to continue our hike with. You couldn’t ask for a kinder more accommodating hostess. Highly recommend to stay here.

The lady was very kind and takes care of everything on her own. The location is perfect, right on the trail to Ushguli, and I’m sure the place is amazing on sunny days.
However, the guest house wasn’t very clean, and it was quite cold. Since we had been hiking in the rain all day, our clothes were completely wet. There is an outdoor wood-burning stove, but unfortunately, with many guests and the rainy weather, it wasn’t enough to properly dry up. Overall, the hospitality was good, but the cleanliness and the lack of adequate heating and drying facilities made our stay less comfortable.

Right on the Mestia-ushguli trail. Nice garden space to sit and the owner operates a market there aswell. Water fountain available as well

Host was friendly. Location good. Beds comfortable
Food was sub par. Breakfast was reheated dinner. Food also quite expensive making this stay cost the same as other more expensive hotels.
