Great location on the Mestia to Ushguli hike. Room was clean and bathroom was good with warm water and good water pressure. Dinner was good quality and delicious, with shared tables for guests to encourage interaction. Host was welcoming and friendly.
There is no internal way to get from the room to the eating room, so you have to go downstairs out the front and then around the side of the building. Ok when sunny but not so great when raining. Space in bedroom for the double bed was a little cramped.

Great location, pleasant owners, good food.
The guesthouse was under heavy constructions, with a lot of noise till very late at the evening, and very early in the morning. I would expect trying to minimize it, as well getting some discount.
I would also add that better English by the owner would help.

Unfortunately this was probably our least favourite stay on the trek and far too expensive for what you get.
The staff were quite rude and unfriendly from the start, with very little communication throughout our stay. Myself and my partner also both got sick after eating the food here and ended up having to cut our trek short by a day. When we said we wouldn't be having breakfast the next morning, the response was pretty rude which didn't exactly help.
The dinner was also the most expensive we had anywhere on the trek while being the worst quality.
The place seems much more focused on large tour groups, so it gets very loud and there's nowhere really to relax outside your room. We ended up feeling a bit locked away in there for most of the evening.
For the price they're charging compared to everywhere else along the route, we expected a lot more.
