Staying at Salt Mirissa Resort was an experience I won’t forget. They organised everything — My stay, hotel pick up and drop off, even to the Safari getaway at Yala, zero stress. But it’s the little things that made it special. Texts with care checking if I needed anything. Delicious fresh catch off the boat — Grilled seafood, traditional home cooked lunch/dinner, and local seasonal fruits.
On my last day, after my morning run in the rain, they surprised me with a Sri Lankan breakfast, papaya juice, freshly peeled fruit, and last but not least, ice cream dessert to satisfy my sweet tooth. That’s the kind of thoughtfulness you remember.
