Great location, very clean throughout, and breakfast had a good variety of choice. The coffee bags were also a nice touch, and there were some good places to eat just a short drive away.
The bed was very soft and uncomfortable, and the fridge in the room was extremely loud at night. Our bathroom was across the hall rather than en-suite, which we weren’t made aware of until a couple of days before our stay. The bathroom also lacked a shower mat and hand towel. Tea and coffee weren’t replenished during our two-night stay

I dont normally write lengthy reviews but we were so impressed. We booked here as it was close to our friends wedding venue, and sadly we didn’t get to spend that much time in the room. The instructions were really clear and easy to follow. Free secure parking was included which was a bonus. The room was lovely and warm when we arrived and very clean. The layout was great, we could have easily stayed a lot longer and although we didn’t book to stay in the local area long we would actually love to come back and explore. The bedding and mattress were super comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. Then we walked over to the cafe for breakfast and the menu had loads of options. I ordered a full English breakfast and my partner had eggs benedict - both were delicious. We thought it was too good to be true and double checked there was nothing else to pay as there was so much included. Great value for money!

Close to Monsal Trail for cycling and walking. Not far from Bakewell and Chatsworth House.
The room had a strange smell despite there being two air fresheners in the room. Opened window.

Perfect location
Black mould in the shower, bathroom floor dirty. Hairs on the toilet
The carpet in the bedroom needed to be vacuumed .
Cups not cleaned daily .
Had to ask for tea bags , hand soap, toilet paper change of towels.
Couldn't open the windows properly.
Filthy window frames dust/dirt filled .
Dreadful smell in the room made me feel nauseous .
Power cut
Noisy position/ on main roundabout.
TV picture quality shocking
