I received a very warm welcome, the views from garden are stunning and whilst it appears to be a bit ‘out of the way’ it’s only a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach and 10 minutes into town, although it’s a steep climb to get back. I was travelling by bike and was allocated an enormous room. The shower cubicle was modern with and the water was great.
Fixtures, fittings and furnishings felt a bit dated and no glasses were provided in the bathroom.

Amazing, unique place. The view is fantastic. Going to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing is lovely. The apartment was very well equipped and we felt very comfortable there.
We loved it. I can imagine if you’re looking for luxury and perfection then this is not the right place for you! It has a lot of character and charm and is an old building.

The lack of staff
The inability to serve breakfast at 8am for cyclists- we were offered a 10am slot as we only arrived at 1730 hours the evening before
This was not suitable as we had a 55 mile ride the next day
When booking there was no information provided about making breakfast requests in advance
It was very poor that we couldn’t be accommodated
The sound proofing with the bedroom next door was poor
The bar closed early at 9pm
The mattress on the bed was too hard
