Location is excellent to visit Bonn’s sites, staff are welcoming and the hotel has a quirky feel which doesn’t detract from the overall experience.
No parking but not the hotels fault as it states this on the booking site.

The location very near the historic walking district is excellent. This place is charming old school with a tiny elevator that does not go to the top floor, where our room was. Compared to many stairs we’ve seen in Europe, these were not even particularly steep! Our room is large, complete with fridge and Kleenex dispenser. Our host Reiner was very helpful storing our bikes and suggesting where to stroll. His wife was more than gracious, too.
Our room was in the attic, so I wasn’t wild about the sloping roof - but glad I never conked my head on it! There’s no AC, just a large fan was provided. But we did not need it in this fall weather.

- high temperature in the room and hotel; although it wasn't very warm outside
- bathroom / toilet room: the air wasn't refreshed (no mechanical extraction installation present)
