Friendly and helpful staff. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet. The location was very handy for most sites we wished to see.
No shelf in shower for soap and shampoo bottles. They had to sit on the shower floor. The towel warmer was not operational.

Location, a large comfortable bed and a nice shower.
Access to our room was a bit difficult with getting our luggage around a spiral staircase.

The location was quiet and convenient to Waverly Station— about a 10-minute walk up a moderate hill. The quiet aspect was especially nice during the Fringe festival. It was a 25-30 minute walk to the Edinburgh Castle, about 20 minutes to the Scottish National Gallery.
The beds were quite firm and the pillows way too plump for my taste.

Good location, reception staff are lovely were able to provide a fan in the room upon request. Room was spacious
Cleanliness is not upto standard. Found a used towel in my bathroom upon check in. The toilet seat had a hair and the bedsheets did not look clean. Pillows are rock hard.
