Nice property situated just near the city centre and a few minutes walk to the Waverley Train Station. Large rooms with all the necessary amenities.

I had a very pleasant stay at Albany Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a wonderfully large bathroom, and the location was simply perfect—close to Waverley Station and St Andrew Square. There are also plenty of great vegan cafés and restaurants nearby, which was a huge plus. A very convenient and comfortable place to stay when exploring my favourite city!

Really beautiful hotel with spacious, clean room. Comfortable bed and large, modern, clean bathroom. Check out time is 11am, which is quite good as it is mostly 10am. Similarly, check-in is 2pm, whereas most places it is 3pm.
There is no lift and the levels are very high so LOTS of stairs, which is something to bear in mind if you have small children / limited mobility / are pregnant / have a lot of luggage. There is also no porter or assistance available with the luggage. The internet is extra slow so we couldn’t really use the smart TV or our laptop.

I loved the location and the property itself is really beautiful.
The property was so warm, I had to open the windows, which would be fine but there’s also construction that has been starting at 7:30 every morning. It made relaxing nearly impossible. Also I had a very awkward moment with housekeeping where the male housekeeper came in and I was clearly in the shower and yet he still knocked on the bathroom door. After that, my room wasn’t cleaned that day either.
