Murray was in contact to confirm our requirements before we arrived and was very informative about the hotel and local area. Nice clean well decorated rooms.
We probably chose the busiest weekend to come to Edinburgh for the Tattoo. So the price of the hotel was quite high. But that’s across the board I’d imagine.

Murray was an excellent host and very attentive. The breakfast was lovely and the room whilst a little basic was very nice
Value for money was greatly unbalanced. For context we paid £300 per night for a twin room...in comparison I have stayed at hotels featured in "the best luxury hotels in the world" for less p/n. I appreciate that Edinburgh is an expensive city but the cost was far too much for what we had

Murray was an exceptional host. Very relaxed, helpful and knowledgeable.
The breakfast was a great start to the day!
Room and upper stairwell very tired and worn decor. The sliding door to bathroom was broken and the chair and flooring had some stains and a continual odour. There was some small hairs present in the shower.
