We had a wonderful time at the house! The owner was very communicative and helpful anytime we had a question. The location is great and close to everything you'd want to do in the area. It was spacious and well appointed with everything you may need. The only negative was that with as many people and kids as we had, the washer and dryer weren't working and we packed counting on that. The owner did graciously offer to wash our things but we didn't want to burden her and just made it work. Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend this property and will stay again in the future.

Everything about the stay was perfect. Checking in was a breeze and the house was even nicer than what we expected. There were 7 of us including 4 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room. The house was nicely appointed and can’t think of a thing it lacked. The location is perfect for a Gruene / New Braunfels visit and would highly recommend it.

We loved staying at this house! It was perfect for a group of couples and a few kids. Plenty of space for sleeping, cooking, eating, and relaxing. We enjoyed grilling and eating on the patio and watching the Astros win the World Series in the spacious and comfy living room! The hosts were super easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions promptly. They even came and switched out a light that had burnt out within minutes of asking. The location is awesome! We were able to walk to Gruene! We will definitely be back!!

Great place to float the river! Can walk to rockin R float company. Can also take a short car ride to downtown. Only bummer was not having a dishwasher

The property is in a great location; large enough for our group of 9 and centrally located but secluded. There are also neat outdoor spaces. In addition, Pam went beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay, providing us with restaurants, activities, and answering all our questions. Highly recommend!

2nd time to rent this house and it was just as great as the first time. We love the large dining room table for games and the covered patio is an awesome place to hang out. The outdoor fireplace is always nice. We will definitely be back!!!

Great cozy little house - walked to the Rockin R River venue and could have walked into Gruene - but decided to drive (it's about a 10 minute walk +/- into the Gruene area. Large kitchen - beds were comfortable to sleep in - and we loved the outside firepit! Great place to stay if you want to enjoy an escape for the weekend. Pam and Scott were great hosts/hostesses and responded quickly to anything we needed.

We had our own space, privacy, and plenty of parking for 4 vehicles. The place was clean and in tip too shape! Check in and out was easy and we had everything we needed! Such a lovely place to stay! And so close to the river without being on it!! You could walk to gruene or rocking r to rent tubes and you get in right there and get shuttled back! So convenient! I went for a run one morning through the surrounding neighbor hoods and easily saw over 100 deer!

We booked this house last minute for Labor Day weekend. This was such a beautiful home and in a perfect location. We walked to the river and restaurants. The house was clean and decorated nicely. Full kitchen, plenty of bedding for the beds and nice towels. Such a comfortable rental and will definitely book again.

My family and I stayed here for my 50th birthday, we had planned to be scuba diving in Grand Cayman but Covid-19 changed our plans for us. That said, we still had a fabulous time floating the river and the house was wonderful. Cold air conditioning after a long day, nice quiet outdoor patio for my morning coffee and the beds were super comfortable. We will certainly be back.

This place is even better in person than the pictures look online! Great location to go float the river, my group walked to Rockin R Rides so we wouldn’t have any drunk drivers and didn’t have to pay for parking either. Easy walk less than half a mile. Absolutely loved the outdoor hangout spots and the whole feel of this place!! Would have loved to stay longer.

We had a girls weekend and loved the house! The house was larger than we expected and had plenty of seating/sleeping room for all of us. We sat outside at the fire pit and back patio quite a bit and was so beautiful. It’s in the country so it’s quiet, however it’s only blocks from anything you need. The kitchen has all the basic items you’d need. The owners were super helpful and even though we had zero issues I’m sure they would be willing to help with anything! We will DEFINITELY be staying here next time we float the river.

Loved our trip here for the weekend. The house is actually a lot bigger than what I was expecting and very cute. Definitely would return. Proximity to the Guadalupe River and downtown Gruene was amazing and necessary for our group. Host are responsive and kind and very east to communicate with.
