About this condo rental
Situated in Aspen, this charming condo for $910 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This top floor, sunny, south corner Chateau Roaring Fork condo with an unobstructed view of Aspen Mountain is located just three blocks from the Little Nell Hotel and Silver Queen Gondola, City Market and the Aspen Core. The cathedral ceiling and floor to ceiling glass wall bring the outdoors in. The unit is warm and welcoming. The kitchen and dining room feature granite countertops with a matching granite table for eight. There is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, including cherry cabinets, a large gas range, and stainless steel appliances including a convection oven/microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with icemaker, a separate wine cooler and a gas grill on the deck with an outdoor table allowing you to cook/eat al fresco. From the spacious living/dining room, with double faced gas fireplace, you are treated to views of Aspen Mountain, watching skiers go by as you are enjoying your morning coffee from both the living room and dining table. Our unit is the best location to watch Aspen's renowned fireworks displays. You relax on a large, upscale leather couch and two wonderful reclining chairs in the living room with a large wall mounted Television/sound bar/bluetooth in the living room. The unit is fully serviced by fast Wi-Fi. The large Master Bedroom with a king size bed contains a newly added en-suite bath with a heated floor and twin sinks. It has views facing both Independence Pass and the Roaring Fork river. All bedrooms each have their own televisions. At guest's option the two non-master bedrooms can be made up with either two extra long twin beds, or the beds can be joined together and set up as a single king bed, as you prefer. Your stay includes MAID SERVICE with ABI, THE BEST HOUSEKEEPER IN ASPEN! There is also a full size washer and dryer, and a Rinnai Instant hot water system assuring that you will never run out of hot water. The Chateau Roaring Fork Complex has the largest pool in Aspen, with two large hot tubs. The hot tubs are great meeting places in which to soak after skiing or hiking, as well as a wonderful amenity in the summertime. There is also a sauna, and small workout room. There are beautiful hiking trails right outside your door including the East Aspen trail, a very short walk to the locals favorite Ute Trail, links to the nearby Rio Grande Trail by Hallam Lake, Glory Hole Park to name a few. It is hard to choose what the best part of staying in this unit is? Is the comfortable condo itself, where you can relax by the fireplace, throw something on the grill and enjoy a comfortable meal together; or is it the convenient core location where everything is in easy walking distance from the Supermarket to the Gondola, to Restaurant Row, to the Downtown shops, to the Roaring Fork Transportation Hub with free bus service to the other ski areas - Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, Buttermilk -as well as service down valley all the way to Glenwood Springs; or, is it the easy access to the many trails outside your door? Who knows, but it's just great. On a different note, the rules of the Condominium Association prohibit guests from bringing any animals into the complex. This rule is strictly enforced. Smoking, of ANY substance, including tobacco products, vape pipes, marijuana, etc. is strictly forbidden anywhere on the premises, notwithstanding the fact that smoking these substances may be permitted by Colorado law. Because of the convenient location in the core and Aspen's wonderful public transportation system you do not need a car to get around. If you do bring a car you will be provided with a single parking pass for the condominium lot. There is a four-day minimum stay, with longer minimums at select times. Daily rates are listed on our site, but may be modified for special events, etc. Actual rates will be confirmed at the time of your booking. There is an Aspen Sales Taxes of 21.3% on stays of less than 28 days, but there is no sales tax on stays of 28 days or longer. Owner reserves the right to change rates at any time prior to acceptance of your booking.

We have stayed at a lot of different properties in Aspen over the years and this one is at the top of our list. It was very clean with recently updated bathrooms and nice comfortable beds and the location was fantastic just a short walk to the gondola. The property manager was easy to get in touch with and very attentive to our needs. Two thumbs up!!

We visited Aspen for the food and wine classic and stayed for four days. The condo was great size for the 5 adults we had with us and James, the owner, did a great job of communicating with me both before and during our stay as needed. Both of the bathrooms were recently redone. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

James was a great host! Everything from the booking process to check out process was a breeze. James promptly answered any questions and jumped in to assist. We absolutely loved our time here and cannot wait to return some day. The unit is in the perfect location - walking distance to Aspen Mtn and many restaurants/bars in the area. Can’t beat it!

My friends and I stayed at James' condo in Aspen and were very happy with the experience. The condo is comfortable, clean, and quaint, with a stellar view. The gas fireplace was cozy feature we used frequently after long days on the slopes. The location of the condo is superb for all Aspen has to offer. Very well appointed place within a short walk to everything. This was an annual guys ski trip and we all agreed that it was the best place we had rented. The daily cleaning was a very nice touch.

From the time I inquired about this rental to the day after check out…. James was so helpful.
His property is a perfect home away from home. The location to the town and gondola is only a few blocks- and it was below freezing temps- still easily done.
The unit was spotless, warm, homey, up to date and easily ‘figured out’. The bathrooms are updated and very clean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The washer and dryer were key! The endless hot water was a plus…. Very good perk! The gas fireplace warmed everyone up within minutes and made for cozy nights as a family!
There were friendly women who came to replace towels and remove trash daily. The property is really nice- with good parking, snow removal, salted walk ways. Our teenagers especially enjoyed the huge community hot tub. They met many other kids their age and looked forward to relaxing and meeting new friends after a day on the slopes. It was quiet- warm- great mattresses- perfect place to lay your head after a fun filled day in Aspen. We will return and recommend highly to anyone visiting Aspen.

Chateau Roaring Fork property could not have been any nicer. The vrbo host James was extremely helpful and gracious and his housekeeper kept the condo in amazing shape throughout the stay. Easy walk to the gondola and store and restaurants. We are hoping to stay here again next year!

Fantastic accommodations in a perfect location!
From start to finish, the rental process was seamless. James was a helpful and gracious host! We loved the decor, space and location of the condo, especially the fireplace with views of Ajax mountain behind it. The condo is well maintained, nicely furnished, comfortable and very clean. We had a fantastic stay in aspen. The unit is clean and well situated for a family. It has all the amenities that you would expect. Located on Durant Street, it’s a quick walk to town (restaurants, shops, parks, gondola). Housekeeping cleaned the unit everyday. The unit has AC which was needed in the afternoons. Pool is large and in great condition. The owner was also very friendly and accommodating to our family. We would stay at Chateau Roaring Fork again!

Terrific family condo
This is a beautiful, spacious, updated property so close to everything in Aspen. The condo is much larger than expected with every appliance you can imagine that is new and functional. The fireplace is especially nice as well as the nonstop hot water. The view to the mountains is beautiful. The owner is exceedingly receptive. The housekeeping service was a nice bonus. Our group of six had more than enough space and we would love to stay again.

Warm welcoming home base for our Aspen adventure
Enjoyed our time in Aspen in Chateau Roaring Fork. Our "concierge," James Barash was accommodating and helpful throughout our five day jaunt. We had a couple of small mechanical issues re: the dryer and a leak in one of the bathrooms (caused by folks shoveling the roof above us -- so much snow!!!), but James was immediately responsive and helped make our stay a delight.

As good as it gets for Aspen skiing and dining
This unit is a 2 block walk the the mountains and all of the best downtown restaurants, a liquor store, and grocery store. It is exceptionally well appointed and clean with daily room service that comes as well. We spoke to the land lord ahead of time and he confirmed that the unit included washer dryer, hair dryers, towels, full kitchen, and grill which allowed us to pack light.

Great spot to stay in Aspen. The condo was very comfortable, well set up, and such a great location. Being 3 blocks to the gondola could not have been easier for hitting the slopes. Thanks James, will certainly hit you up again when back in the area again.

Comfortable, quiet and convenient condo
Three adults enjoyed this three bed, 2 bath condo over the course of a week. I picked it because of a) location - walking distance to Aspen mountain and town center, b) location - top floor, corner unit, and c) set-up - ability to offer king-sized beds in all bedrooms. It met my criteria. Our host, James, was available to answer questions and offer suggestions. Daily housekeeping spoiled us. The only [minor] negative of the condo is that the galley-style kitchen is very small and since we tend to cook, things got a little tight. Also, there is no standard oven though there is a combined microwave/convection oven over cooktop and a toaster oven. Furnishings and finishes were comfortable but not luxurious if that's what you are expecting. The unit is nicely decorated with art, which makes it feel homey. The master bed is a tempurpedic-type mattress, which some people love and some people hate. I could see the condo handling four guests with ease. More than four and I think people would be tripping over one another not to mention fighting for the bathroom.

This was a terrific property to stay in. Very nice, close to market, gondola and bus, and spectacular views. Most importantly, James was a terrific host - accommodating, thoughtful and helpful. We would absolutely try to stay here again.

Great space!
Owner was wonderful and very accommodating. The place is very clean, the beds very comfortable and the location is perfect! With in less than five minutes you have access to a super market, restaurants and of course the gondola! No need for a car. Also the hot tub and pool are great. Thanks for sharing your place. We will be back!
