Great hotel in Kyoto with an ideal location! It's just a 3-to-4 stop bus ride from the doorstep to Gion and Kawaramachi, and a 15-minute walk to Nanzen-ji. The staff are polite and welcoming, and the hotel features complete amenities with a clean, Japanese minimalist design. Rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable. A huge bonus was the in-room washer with a proper drying function!
However, despite emailing multiple times, I only received my late check-in details on the night of arrival.

Excellent location very close to Heian Shrine and not too far from Gion. In room laundry and kitchenette were a plus. Lawson’s was conveniently located next door.
Room was slightly cramped. For a quad room not much space for luggage. Coffee and bakery items (not fresh) were disappointing.

Great hotel. Great location and room was very spacious even for 3 people.
The bathroom and shower were amazing. We also had a kitchen fully equipped.
Highly recommended.
