Beautiful hotel located in the centre, near the station. Clean and comfortable rooms. Tastefully decorated reception and lobby lounge. Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Tea, coffee, water and pastries available from the afternoon in the lobby.

We loved the historic atmosphere and architecture. It’s a lovely independent, characterful hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, as well as very efficient. The location is excellent and the breakfast pretty good. The 24 hr fika in the lobby is a nice touch.
Nothing really. The hotel doesn’t have a bar so we haven’t given full marks to ‘facilities’. But we knew that when we booked and it’s not a problem.

The staff at the reception were excellent, very polite, welcoming and always willing to help. The breakfast offered a wide range of products, and the room was clean.
The hotel preserves much of its original style and character, as explained in the information sheet in the room. The room had carpeting, curtains and upholstered furniture that can easily accumulate dust. Although everything looked very well maintained and clean, for guests with respiratory allergies like me, this traditional style may not be the most suitable option.
The heating worked through the air-conditioning unit, which triggered my allergies. I imagine this system runs all year, and proper maintenance must be challenging. In addition, the pillows were not comfortable for sleeping.
There was a lot of noise during the night coming from the ventilation system, which would turn on and off repeatedly, and also from the bathroom, making it difficult for me to sleep.
The breakfast area was small for the number of guests. On both mornings it was very crowded, and there were no available tables when I arrived.
