As travelling to hotel to celebrate my wifes birthday, really appreciated reception staff upgrading my room. Plus note must have been sent to restaurant which I had booked prior to arriving as they gave her a free glass of prosecco.

Excellent breakfast with wide variety offered. Suite rooms were very quiet and comfortable.

Nice people. Lovely old hotel
The furniture in the rooms is cheap and ugly. The bath plug did t work so I couldn’t have a bath despite having chosen a room with a bath. The rooms were quite a long way from the main hotel so I got wet through going back to reception to catch a taxi.
