Nestled in Bend, this lovely house for $320 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Spend your vacation in our beautiful Westside home, and call it your home for the time being. Enjoy the views of the city and surrounding mountains, ski or snowboard in the winter, enjoy the close mountain bike trails, golf or tennis, take a walk, float the river, walk downtown, enjoy Bend like a Bendite! Located on Bend's Westside, close to shopping, 5 minutes from Downtown or the Old Mill District and 20 minutes up the hill to Mt. Bachelor, camping grounds and lakes. Located in close proximity to great golf courses within half a mile! This spacious 3,000 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, 2-bathroom home with a beautifully landscaped yard is the perfect vacation rental for your next visit to Bend. Ground floor has a family room, bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. Large fully equipped kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, convection oven, microwave oven and dishwasher. The kitchen is on second story with the views and another bathroom and two bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and one bedroom has a king. This is an incredibly fully equipped home with all the amenities, TV’s in every room, WiFi, air conditioning, ceiling fan and an open living room with a gas fireplace on both floors. The home has several steps 10 outside and 14 to the mail part of the house.

A great place to stay! Prior to our visit, Kathy sent us lots of information about Bend, OR. We read it on the plane so we could add some fun activities to the wedding activities.
We played pickleball every morning! The house was well appointed, and we truly enjoyed our stay in Bend. The comfort and convenience of this house made the stay exponentially better!

West Hills house was very comfortable and had everything one needed for a pleasant stay. The view from the living room was wonderful. The host was easy to communicate with and timely with her responses. I would not hesitate to stay here again when in Bend.

Excellent location, close to downtown and parks. Our dogs enjoyed walking around the area and lying near the fireplace. We mainly stayed upstairs. The kitchen has every appliance you could want for cooking at home. Beds were cozy and warm. The driveway was plowed for us after the snow which was considerate. Excellent communication with Host/Kathy.

My experience exceeded all expectations. The Olson home was perfect for us in every way! It had everything! The kitchen was fully equipped and had a bbq grill. I felt like I was staying in my own home. It was spacious, comfortable, light and bright, clean, well located on the west side and had gorgeous views. The grounds were great too. The opportunity to stay here made our Thanksgiving perfect and the Olson’s were accommodating and couldn’t have been nicer. I felt like I made a new friend with Kathy Olson.

Excellent location near downtown, Pioneer Park and other river parks. Very quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of Bend.
Our main complaint was concerning the cleanliness of the carpet, area rugs and the sheets. They all need a good washing and the interior itself needs a good dusting.
The open floor plan of the living and dining area was very comfortable and our host, Katharine, was easy to communicate with.

The house is beautiful. Sleeps 6 adults easily. We had 2 couples stay in the house. The kitchen is well stocked. We fixed breakfast and lunches at the house and enjoyed the wonderful breweries and restaurants in the area for dinners. The house is well located to get down town. The market down the hill recommended by the owner is locally owned and has all we needed with friendly staff.
The owner mailed us info about the house and things to do In the area. (All very helpful) We would stay here again for sure.

My grandsons were entertained playing basketball in the court at the side of the property, giving adults some peace and quiet to sit on the balcony overlooking the city and the sunset. The kitchen was user friendly for two people. Seating accommodated a family to watch a movie together. We had the kids downstairs and adult upstairs, which was ideal for peace and quiet. We enjoyed preparing meals together, allowing us to spend $ on activities instead of eating out. The owner was helpful in suggesting a convenient place to rent a paddle board for 1/2 the cost I had found.

I was stunned when I drove up to the property. It was much bigger than I expected and it was very nice. Inside it felt like a warm home. The owners live in it part of the year so it is decorated as their home. I felt it was very clean, comfortable and provided ample room for the 6 of us (5 adults, one child and a big dog). A great view from the deck and main living area. Less than 2 miles from DT area. Lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby. Many activities to do within a half hour.

This had to be THE BEST family reunion/vacation!! The house lacks for nothing. My husband, youngest son (18), my in-laws and I all gathered here to visit with our children who live in Bend. We had room to spread out in, visit in, cook in, and receive some of the most wonderful news that parents could get...we're having a grandbaby!! Perfectly located near everything you might want to do in Bend, clean, comfortable, and perfect for the four-legged family member. I cannot recommend this house enough to anyone who wants a relaxing and wonderful vacation in Bend.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Bend - we truly enjoy all that the town and outdoors there has to offer - but I hoped for a bit more from this property. The following aspects were great: communication/welcome and flexibility from the property owner, outdoor deck with views, overall cleanliness, well-stocked kitchen and grill, amazing A/C that cranked cool air during an especially hot week (however its thermostat was very dated and hard to figure out how to use), fantastic and fun sport court. However, I believe it's important that people understand that this is not a "modern" property, that some parts of the property are unavailable (though it's implied that they may be available) and that there is a separate rental on the same property . First, to the modern comment: the great room/kitchen area of this home is light-filled, spacious and comfortable overall, though there are still many 'old decor' elements including dark wood trim/doors. The bedrooms and downstairs 'family/rec room' have very old decor, dingy carpeting, wood paneling and dark wood trim that makes them dark and definitely not "modern". Beds were comfortable but felt used. Bathrooms were clean with builder grade upgrades, but have no windows and are dark and small. This is not how I define "modern" - if you drive around Bend, there truly are many modern homes - this is not one of them. It's an older home that's had selective, but important, upgrades (like the kitchen counters and to some extent, the bathrooms). Admittedly, much of this is visible in the photos. To the point about parts of the home being unavailable: in the photos, there is an image taken of the great room from the upstairs loft. I expected one of the bedrooms and/or a rec space to be up there. Turns out this upstairs loft is gated/locked off. The third bedroom is in the downstairs/basement 'rec room', and there really is no 'real' master bedroom/bath available in the rental property. Overall, the home is comfortable and clean, but I would not describe it as modern. The location is ok - not as close to town as I'd hoped, but has nice views that we enjoyed from its hilltop spot. Thanks again to our hosts who were very kind. We will definitely be coming back to Bend.

Very clean,inside and out! Welcoming to guests and pets. Well stocked kitchen and linens….we needed nothing ( except food!) to comfortably stay, cook meals, and understand expectations for our stay. Clear instructions for operating TV’s, dishwasher, etc. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable and Close to Bend
We had a lovely stay over the 4th of July weekend. My wife and I and our 2 teenagers enjoyed the common space, great deck with a view, comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Super close to walks along the river, Shevlin Park, Tumalo Falls and all that Bend had to offer. Plus a big common area where we could hang out, play games and watch a movie in the evening. Super bonus with the pickleball court that included lots of rackets and equipment. Would definitely recommend!
On top of all that, Kathy was an excellent host with good advance information and answering a few questions via phone while we were there.

Beautiful Bend Home
Great property and close to everything. We even saw Mule deer walking through the yard. The pickle ball and basketball courts were a great add on to keep the kids busy between activities. The host was very responsive and helpful in providing tips for our stay. Bend was great and we’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect location
I wanna stay here was perfect. The location could not have been better. It was just over a mile to get downtown. A short drive to the old Mill district or to Drake Park to put in our paddle boards and float for the day. Went on a different hike every day, all within a 10 to 20 minute drive from the house. The house comfortably held my husband and I, my sister, her husband and her two girls as well as our dog. The house had everything we needed. Also really enjoyed the sport court and played plenty of Pickleball with the family.

We really enjoyed our staying at the house. It had a beautiful view from the family room. The kitchen had everything you needed for a home cook meal. The beds were comfortable for five of us. Overall, it's super nice.
