The hotel is very good and the breakfast was good but could benefit from fresh fruit instead of tinned fruit. Dinner was a slight problem being a 2-course or 3-course menu of the day. There was a bar menu but with restricted times and no lunch service. Overall good but just these issues. The staff were great, very friendly and professional. The local bus stops are right outside so travel to Gorey (or a 20 minute walk) or St Helier by public transport was very good.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned to a good standard.
The breakfast was good and the location was relatively convenient for busses.
Sunday evening we wanted to eat from the snack/bar menu and were told this was not available as the chef was on her own and already had 20 people for the evening dinner. The restaurant was fully booked so we were forced to get a bus to St Helier to have food.
The pool heating pump broke down so the pool was unheated and although there was a notice, a hotel without pool would have been cheaper to book so I feel I overpaid for facilities.
The property seemed to be running on very liw staffing levels with some doing multiple roles, not ideal when you need something although the staff who were there were very friendly and weredoing their best.
The beds on castors on a laminate floor had a habit of moving when sitting on them or even rolling over which was not ideal, especially when going to sit on the edge.

Overall it’s in a state of disrepair, some rooms are unacceptable and there are areas which appear to have started renovation work which has been abandoned
