Lovely view from the room overlooking St Clements Bay. The breakfast was great, good choice of cereals with fresh fruit salad, other fruits and yogurts, sliced meats and cheese. The full English cooked breakfast included the usual or a choice of grilled kippers - plenty to eat and very filling. The reception team of Ana and Meghan were great, friendly. helpful and the restaurant team were amazing. The hotel employ a team of Kenyan workers for the season, the most pleasant and friendly guys I have yet to meet in a hotel. Talking to them, they enjoy their work and the hotel is a good employer. They are always ready with a smile and a laugh. Isaac is the Maitre'd and welcomes you all, our waitress Peris was a sweetheart. The hotel offers residents a set dinner menu comprising 4 courses with tea/coffee or there is an a la carte menu which needs to be requested at breakfast so the chef can get the fresh ingredients required. We had the set menu each night, the choice was varied, two entrees, then either soup or sorbet, three main choices followed by a selection of desserts or cheese board. The price of drinks in the hotel is very reasonable, far better than the town restaurants. With a bus stop just yards from the entrance, and M & S foodstore around the corner and the beach immediately across the road, this hotel has everything.
There are no towels provided in the pool area so we had to use our room towels

The location is excellent the rooms were very nice for a 3 * very pleasantly surprised. The staff were all very helpful and the food was above average although not many options on the dinner menu

Generally a nice bedroom overlooking the pool. Very pleasant staff. Lovely breakfast with waiter service. Pleasant bar and restaurant areas. Great location to beach .

Room was clean. Good access to the beach.
Very dated. Bathroom badly needed upgrading. Very old sanitary ware and the shower pressure was very poor. Room was small, hot and stuffy. We had to sleep with the patio window wide open as that was the only ventilation but that felt a bit insecure and was noisy. There’s a noisy main road between the hotel and the beach which spoils the sea-view rooms. Breakfast buffet was limited. It might be fine if you want a cooked breakfast but there wasn’t much for the continental option. Also, breakfast finished at 9am which is much too early and meant that staff were rushed between 8:30 and 9, and service was slow. Receptionist on arrival was efficient but quite brusque. We didn’t particularly feel welcomed and nobody showed us where anything was. There’s a swimming pool but no swimming towels or changing facilities provided.
