Beautiful setting and grounds. The staff were so friendly welcoming and helpful. The room had everything we needed. We enjoyed the food.
The restaurant was a little dark in places making it hard to see the food. So we moved to a more lit table on subsequent visits.

The situation. The staff. The food.
Our room was very small. The duvet cover was torn. The toilet seat was loose and not clean. Dirty toilet brush in an open container. The shower was ok but jet water everywhere, soaking the floor. No manager to talk to.

Support room was large and very comfortable. The shape was lovely as it had 3 windows overlooking the pool.
The bathroom was really small. It wasn’t in keeping with a superior room.

Twin beds but NOT confirmed until arrival despite repeated questions before arrival
Hotel unable to confirm twin bed availability which was vital for a satisfactory stay.
The crowded public areas. At no time during the booking or lead up to our stay was there a warning that a wedding event would be running. We had a 4am start on the (delayed) day of arrival due to fog and delay of the flight the previous day. The volume of noise and difficulty moving around the crowded public areas was awkward, and resulted in the above gradings of reduced satisfaction. It was not an ideal start of a much needed, peaceful, relaxing holiday catching-up with adult family members.
