Very nice staff and we loved the sound of rushing water outside of our room. We enjoyed the free cable cars.
We visited and fed the marmots on our last day.
The hotel may have offered pick up from the bus station but unfortunately we failed to find someone to ask when we were leaving and the walk there is hard with luggage. Since there is no air condition, it would be nice to have screens on the windows or door to let fresh air in without worrying about bugs getting in or a lighter blanket for the bed.
Overall the place was nice and located in a nice spot.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff helped a lot with my dairy allergy, even buying me special bread and yogurt and plant based milk, so I would have dairy free food to eat at breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the the laundry detergent used on the sheets was unscented, which was very helpful for me. Everything was very clean. We loved hearing the sound of the creek from our room. It was nice to have a smaller hotel to stay in as it made our stay more relaxing.

The view was unsurpassed and very beautiful
The room was supposed to be "superior" but was small. Only one chair to sit. Unfortunately the floor of the room was extremely scruffy for the price we were paying, - not fully carpeted and no coverings on what seemed an unfinished underlay...... only one or two small rugs by the bedside. Quite disappointing - considering that we had stayed at this hotel before albeit many years ago and had kept good memories of the generous accommodation at that time.
