Comfortable and affordable room in a quiet neighborhood

Comfortable bed, decent sized room, view of the mountain, staff was polite, decent wifi

The shower was a bit tricky to use as the head wouldn't stay in place, couldn't get hot water out of the tap except in shower mode, had a few awkward interactions with the staff that could have been smoothed out by doing all check in-related stuff at check in, would be nice to be able to pay online instead of in cash, location is a bit off the beaten path (though Bansko is small so this wasn't a huge problem)

Amazing stay

Everything was amazing from start to finish! The room was all we needed it and more, the bed was super comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful, an amazing way to start the day by opening the curtains. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. The hospitality of the hosts was so warm and friendly we couldn’t thank enough, so accommodating and always with a smile. I would give them 10 stars and more.

A delightful traditional guest house which is clean, warm and very friendly.

We were a party of 6 looking for 3 double rooms in a chalet type environment. This place fit the bill perfectly. The host Stoil was such a lovely person and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were clean and warm with balconies overlooking the mountain. We were given a choice for breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice and enjoyed the home cooked food in a lovely traditional environment.

The property is maybe a kilometre from the gondola, but the wonderful owner gave us a lift there every morning and provided breakfast early when we wanted it. The walk wasn’t an issue and we enjoyed the walk into the town most evenings.

The breakfast was very good, nice portions, tasty. Uncle Stoil, who serves it, does not speak english though, but they have english menus. The shuttle to the gondola is actually a normal car which is driven by a staff member, (1 backseat is lowered) => maximum capacity 3 people.

Brilliant and Authentic

I loved the homey, comfy, cosy feel of the whole house. It is authentic, the food is incredible and the people are extremely welcoming and helpful! I would visit again any time!

Christmas in Bansko

The hostess was very kind and welcoming, ready to serve us in whatever we needed. Breakfast very tasty with local products. We loved the room on the third floor because it had a view of the mountain! Very nice and family environment, when we go back to Bansko we will visit again.

Very welcoming , clean, great Value for money, warm rustic atmosphere, Special thank to Stilia and his family , who made us A M A Z I NG breakfast every day! Also helped us in every small detail we needed, it really felt like home : )

Superb

The guesthouse is run by a family. We got a warm welcome, a cozy and spacious room and some schnapps with the grandfather of the family. The room on the top floor had an amazing view over the mountains. Such a big plus.

Amazing!

Stoil and his family were exteremly welcoming and did their best to make us feel at home. The breakfast was always different and tasted very good. During the evenings we ate at the tavern of the hotel and the food was some of the best that we have tasted in Bansko, with very affordable prices. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. Would totally visit again!

Great Bansko in winter

The guest house was very warm, the restaurant was very tasty and cheap, the view was amazing. The area was quiet and relaxing.

The room was very warm and there was no chance to choose the desired temperature. The location is away from the old center, the parking was challenging and still possible.

Good value for money

Warm place with enough space for two adults and two big kids aged 11 and 14. It was possible to achieve privacy in the apartment due to the door between the two rooms. The friendly hosts and the home made breakfast we liked the most. The small family run taverna inside the house provided hot soups without hesitation.

It was a bit noisy in the evenings due to late visitors or other guests. The wifi signal was unstable and weak on our floor.

The owner of the hotel and his grandson - wonderful people, were ready to help. Simple but clean and spacious room. Loved bulgarian rose soap, small detail but makes the difference.

Excellent! Our home away from home

The guest house was simply amazing!!! Exactly as it says on the gate, it feels just like home. It is located at approx. 1.5 km from the gondola. The owner is a very welcoming and kind person, as well as the staff. Indeed, he does not speak English, which was only difficult because we would have loved to talk more with him, but we could get along just fine. We got a welcoming drink, 'rakia', as well as the departure wine, both homemade. All rooms have mountain views, which are absolutely breathtaking. The room we stayed in was very clean, very spacious, with storage spaces, comfortable mattress and great light. It had an on-suite bathroom and huge window, as well as a terrace to enjoy the view. Also, it was extremely well-heated, as you would need after a long day on the slopes. Everything in this guesthouse is very well-thought, amazingly decorated and makes you feel like home. The restaurant is traditional, both in terms of food and decorations. Also, the floor is heated and the owner made sure we were keeping a safe distance. We had breakfast included, and we could choose from a variety of options. We ordered in the evening for a certain time in the morning, and they were extremely punctual. Everything we ordered was fresh and made that day. We loved the simmering pita they always brought simmering hot, the Mekitsa served with Bulgarian feta and jam. For dinner, we tried several dishes from the menu such as the kebapche, the chomlek, the shaslik and several other dishes specially-created by Mr. Stoil, the owner. Overall, besides looking so appetizing, the food tasted amazing. The pickles are homemade. Prices are also very good.

I liked everything so I cannot complain about the guesthouse in any way. The only problem we had is that, given that parking is provided on the street, in front of the guesthouse, a 'friendly' neighbor scratched our car with a key, on the left side, on both doors. However, the guesthouse staff offered to provide they garage to park the car inside, to avoid any similar problem.
