We loved the restaurant attached to the accomodation. Most of the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. They were happy to give a takeaway breakfast when we asked on the day we had an early trip to the general audience with Pope Leo. Dora was particularly attentive. Despite being run off her feet, she made sure we had everything we needed and all with a cheery smile.
The shower was very powerful. The bed was comfortable. The mini fridge was handy and bottled water supplied. The view of the santa Maria Bascilica was lovely and the bells ringing blissful.
The shower room was very small and tight. It made it hard to use comfortably. There was a kettle in the room but no cups, tea or coffee or milk, which was a bit strange.
The accomodation was old worldly and traditional but there was no fire escape which was a safety issue, as we were in the 2nd floor, behind secure doors. We felt safe from intruders but worried about fire.

The location was ok and the person who showed us to the room was nice, it was clean but the room was tiny. Breakfast looked nice in the cafe but we didn't eat there. It was in walking distance to some attractions which was useful and it was not far and the main station.
The separate bathroom was too small to move around in. The room was clean enough but the bed was smaller than a standard double and was not comfortable. No European plugs in the room which was inconvenient. It would have been fine for a single person for a night or two but I would not recommend this room for more than one person.
