Perfect location

Location is just amazing 🙂 metro station in 1 min, port in 10 min. Perfect place for walking in the central part of the city.

The room is really small ☺️ but for a few days it is ok.

It was sufficient for our needs

The location was very convenient, in the city centre. The air conditioning was much appreciated.

The bathroom extractor fan did not work.

The Moderno served our needs and contributed to a pleasant stay in Barcelona.

The hotel offers good value considering its location. Additionally, the staff is very helpful.

While centrally located on the Ramblas' gothic quarter, the neighborhood can get a bit dodgy later in the evening.

Excellent stay, great location and excellent staff

Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast waiter was a lovely man who kept the buffet well stocked. The hotel was in an excellent location and handy for the transport links.

Room needed a bit of love and attention. The floor was very worn and shabby. The maids kept it beautifully clean though so not an issue.

Lovely accommodation in an excellent location!

First of all, we would like to say that this hotel is an excellent choice due to the location, since it is literally 50 meters away from the main street “La Rambla”! Besides, the staff is kind and friendly, and above everything else diligent and well organized. We had our towels and sheets changed on a daily basis, and room cleaned as well. Everyone, from receptionist, to the kitchen staff were friendly and eager to help with anything. Also, guests are allowed to put their belongings and suitcases in a storage room until the time of departure. We stayed for four nights and are looking forward to coming back at the same place next time we visit this lovely city! Hasta luego! 🌊🌴🇪🇸

Sometimes the cards for entering the room are glitching so that might be the only thing to check out. Other than that everything was exceptional!

Great location, clean, friendly and a great place to stay

Location is fantastic, staff were really friendly and helpful. They spoke great English, and other languages too. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was extra, which I knew when I booked, but was only €7 which is outstanding value especially as it was a really good breakfast with the full English and continental plus cereal etc.

I have stayed in this hotel before but because it was a very busy week in Barcelona with a big convention, the rate was more than triple the rate I paid last time.

Perfect location and easy access from plaza Catalunya, and kind staffs~

Wi-fi signal is variated depending on the location of room and privacy might be open to the residents of next room if your voice is loud~

Convenient and reasonably comfortable hotel just off Las Ramblas.

Great location but enough metres from Las Ramblas to be very quiet. Liceu Metro station, La Boqueria market and lots of eateries and bars very close. Good value. Great staff, who speak excellent English for those who need it. Small but reasonably comfortable rooms. Good breakfast with lots of choices, for €9.90. It is the third time we have stayed here, which is a good recommendation.

Having the shower over a tiny bath (too small to lie in) made access hard for my wife, who is disabled. We couldn’t use it without the floor getting quite wet. A walk-in shower would use the space more efficiently, be easier to use, and would keep the floor dry.

Okay stay, but for the price I would have liked more

Good location, breakfast good value for EUR7, and reception helpful.

No tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom, the safe didn't work, and there was a min bar but like the safe, locked. They should also upgrade the shampoo/shower gels.
