This hotel in Tangier is the perfect place—the best I could have possibly imagined- feels like a step back in time.
The décor was stunning—you could really feel an artistic spirit here. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. We loved spending time in the lounge area just off the lobby, which was filled with artworks, interesting books, and perfectly curated music. Our room was very spacious and featured a large terrace offering views of Tangier’s Old Town, the garden, and the ocean, as well as the sunrise. The hotel is situated right next to a park in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. I was captivated by the pool and garden, where I could relax in the water after a long day. Breakfast was excellent (everything tastes so much better here than in Europe, fresh and good quality, you know what I mean). And good selection of wine.

We loved the location of this hotel. The staff were incredible, and the breakfast and happy hour were such a nice addition to our stay! Hassan was our favorite. We also utilized the Hamam, which was a great treat. We had travelled around Morocco for a bit, and while the attention to detail in Maison Tangier was not quite as high as it had been other places, there was a much more familiar atmosphere. It felt like we were staying in someone's home. We were well taken care of, and felt so comfortable.
We had a bit of trouble with our shower, which was not quite fixed by the time we left.
