good location but not comfortable for long stay

Very good location, comfortable room access system

we checked into room 3 on the ground floor, the kitchen area was uncomfortable and poorly equipped. There is only one window in the room which looks out onto the street. Internet connection was very weak. Due to the location of the room, it was very cold there in April (electric batteries did not help) and noisy, since right behind the wall of the studio there was a hall with a front door that constantly slammed loudly when someone entered

Great for a family stay

Clean, comfortable and well-equipped apartment, ideally located within easy walking distance of the city centre and with the U-bahn just at the end of the road. We loved it.

Not a positive element in my travel experience.

I basically selected this place because I needed self check-in after a late flight from Krakow. Other places are not so clear about whether self check-in is possible. There was a fridge and a microwave, which allows you to save on food and drinks. Also a table and internet to work, bed to sleep and a very small bathroom, so basically, everything you need.

The place is underwhelming. Old Vienna apartments does not refer to old Vienna, but to old apartments. I've been booking apartments for my working trips to Europe for two decades now, because they allow you to lower your budget while increasing your comfort. Generally, an apartment gives you grater luxury at the cost of not having daily room service. This one certainly combined the smallest kitchen with the smallest bathroom I've seen until now. The kitchen is so small as to become impracticable, equipment was poor but working. Of course, first impression is important, and the income hall is depressing, although the vintage appearance helps a bit. The neighbourhood is clean but boring. It's only a ten minute walk from the centre of Vienna, but it's a lonely walk with much traffic by day and abandoned streets at night, so if you don't feel safe walking alone at night, you probably don't want to be here, even if, evidently, Vienna is supersafe. Basically, the apartment is decent but overpriced, as compared to many other apartments (even in Vienna) where I've stayed before.

Great location and perfect autonomous sign-in

self check-in and -out were arranged perfectly! we were able to come and go without worrying about losing/needing the key. also, location was perfect -subway station was near as well as the canal where people gathered during nights. Overall was quiet and felt safe.

warm water in the shower would be good… also, one half of the bed was super squeaky, so woke up when person next to me turned in sleep

Great location, quiet. Very close to U-bahn. Self check in was very useful. Exceptional value for money for the location. Great facilities in the small kitchen.

Needed more towels. Also we were unable to turn on the heat one night when it was cold. All very minor issues.

Apartment was clean and the 2nd the best location in Vienna. All in all a good choice

I didnt likw the digital key system. It seams to be a comfortable solution but I like it only analog.

Good location, spotlessly clean, beds were comfy It’s an old building which obviously has a lot of history and still has original features in the hallways etc

close to the centre, not the most comfortable

very close to centre! easy to walk around and the tube stop is few steps away

the wifi is really slow and almost don’t work the tv has a remote that just let you move the channels one by one, just Austrian or German channels, not way to connect Netflix or anything the apartment is really small, the bathroom is tiny

Hair dryer, easy check in and check out, close to metro stop

Stayed 3 nights they did not empty the trash and did not clean. Room and bed are a bit dirty, no carpet, a bit cold and damp smelly. Not so close to city center 20-25 minutes walking from the church.

Exceptional

We arrived at midnight and found out we could not find our apartment. It was not very clear in the instruction how to spot the proper door. Lucky me. the host replied almost immediately and the problem was solved :)

1. Helped by host with physical keys needed for shabbat. 2. Surprising soccer table at the 3rd floor apartment. 3. Private washing machine and dryer at the 3rd floor apartment. 4. Clean 5. Great location

1. The apartment at the 1st floor had strong smoke smell around the 1st room. 2. I still had not got the invoice 3. One window couldn't be locked. when you on the 3rd floor.

Perfect accomodation! The appartment is well equipped, has everything for a comfortable stay. Good location - city center within walking distance, close to the tram, metro, restaurants, supermarkets... very quiet at the same time. A luggage storage room is very useful before check in or after check out. We really enjoyed our stay in Old Vienna Apartments. Thank you dear family Ottitsch

We loved the apartment and Vienna.

Close to amenities, including metro station. The apartment is very clean. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. Although the apartment is outside the city center, the Center is easily accessible.

the only thing I can suggest, would be to install hooks for towels.

We had only 4 towels for 4 people for the hole stay which was long stay and when we asked for more towels the host wanted more money, The tv didn’t work at all. Little bit old

We will for sure come back here, it was an amazing place to stay while being in Vienna!

The room was full of light, very close to the city centre. The hosts are amazing, very helpful and they answer very quickly to the messages you are sending to them. Will recommend it for sure!

It is a bit of a problem in some small areas regarding the cleanliness of the place, such as the fridge, the cutlery, or the heater, but all in all the place is clean. The bedsheets are white and very bright.

Very good

Very comfortable and clean apartment with all that you need (kitchen). Very close to city center that almost avoid using of public transport. But if you need, the metro is only few meter from apartment. It was very good value for my money.

The blind on one of the windows was broken. Check-out time (until 10:00 AM is a little bit early). And if you want to change this time, you have to pay money (30$ for a few hours!)

The apartment that I booked (n.10) It's very comfortable and close to the metro. City centre is also quite close. In the nearby there are a supermarket and many cafes.
