The room was a little larger than average for Japan, which was nice. It has a very nice French restaurant, which I thought was quite reasonably priced. Location is perfect, walking distance to Nishiki Market, and Gion is doable too. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The laundry is two small. Only two washers and dryers for the whole hotel.

The Park Hotel was excellent, close to subway and restaurants. We would stay here again.

The location was good and that’s about it.
The room looked definitely better and bigger on the pictures. We purposely went for a bigger room, deluxe or what with space between two beds but there was an interior wall taking away space from the room. Also, the toilet had a weird gas or waste smell during our stay. Plus, I didn’t hear the street noise but the people from the corridor.
