This is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location, close to the railway station, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Despite the central location, my room was quiet at night, with very good sound insulation. The city centre is about a 20-minute walk away and easily reached by tram. There are also convenient tram and bus connections to the airport (around 30 minutes). Of course, since it is close to the railway station, there are various strange people around, but I never encountered any problem.
The exterior of the hotel looks a little dated, but the interior is modern and welcoming. My room was beautiful, cosy and spotlessly clean, with a fridge, a safe and a kettle. Wifi worked perferctly. I did not have breakfast at the hotel but there are many opportunities around.
The reception staff were very kind and helpful. I particularly appreciated the receptionist who arranged a different room for me when I explained that I would prefer one without a connecting door. Such thoughtful service made my stay even more pleasant. I would happily stay here again!

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean property, room temperature nice and no sound from the road outside.
Small fridge in the room was an excellent addition.
Good selection of continental breakfast and freshly squeezed orange juice.

I liked the proximity to the train station, tram, in the renovated rue de strasbourg. Still not the safest to walk at night but I avoided that.
First night was good, second night AC was on because of heat. Even after turning off mine it was still extremely noisy, I guess from the whole system and other rooms. Also easy to hear showers or people walking close by. I hardly slept at all. I opened the window to hear the noises from outside which was better… unfortunately.
