Aventino guest house is a short walk from the main visitor attractions. The guest house is clean and comfortable. The drinking water machine was a great addition, as was the tea/coffee machine.
Alessandro and all staff were very welcoming and friendly.

As it's a guest house, if there's an issue there isn't anyone around, but they are at the end of the phone. I forgot how convenient it is to have a reception where you can ask questions, get recommendations. I'm sure that can be done by phone, but it's not the same for me
Our room was small and in need of a bit of TLC, paint flaking badly in bathroom and door frame coming away from the wall.
These are minor points really as it was such good value.

Nice building in a lovely neighborhood close to Circo Massimo.
Noisy as it is a recycled private apartment. Absolutely no water pressure. Impossible to take a real shower.
