Location is nice in small village.
Our experience with this property is dominated by the fact that we were not able to check in on late arrival and forced to sleep in the car. We had called the property well in advance to inform them that we would arrive late. We were told to call the number on the door to the restaurant to be let in. When doing this on arrival around 9:30 pm, it turned out to be a non working number. It is possible that poor mobile reception in the area (as reported by some reviewers) caused this problem, but this was the only means to try to contact the property. Multiple attempts to knock on (locked) doors etc were unsuccessful in getting the attention of anyone. An additional word of caution is the curious circumstance that the street address of the property is identical to the address in a nearby village, where the GPS will take you in spite of following the suggestions given by the hotel. Using the geographical coordinates is to be strongly recommended if you wish to stay in this hotel. I’m not able to judge the facilities due to the above events. I strongly urge the proprietors to offer additional means of contact if allowing late arrivals. Our experience was very unfortunate, further complicated by our old age, 87 and 76 respectively.
