The staff were fantastic - so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was really good and the courtyard very pretty.
Was disappointed with the room. I had specifically requested twin beds but when arrived it was made up as a double bed so my daughter and I had to separate it not two and request another duvet which they had but no single duvet cover. Then my daughter went for a shower and the shower door was off its hinges so she had to fix it before she could shower. The room was incredibly hot and when we asked someone to have a look they discovered the towel rail was stuck on full blast they sent a handyman to fix it but he couldn’t fix it as it needed a spare part so we were really hot - I then requested the air conditioning but was told the system had been shut down!! This meant in order for it to be bearable we had to sleep with the windows open and woke up having been eaten by misquitoes. In desperation I went to make coffee only to find the kettle not working!!!

This was the perfect base to explore Venice. The staff were exceptionally lovely and the room was really comfortable and decorated in such a classic way. With the canal just outside, and the restaurant serving gorgeous food (highly recommend the monk fish and the king prawn pasta), you could have stayed in this hotel for the whole trip! It was quite a walk from the entrance bridge and the station (around 30 mins) so be prepared to walk to earn your stay!

This hotel is lovely, with a laid back vibe situated off of a quiet canal and easy walking distance to Rialto Bridge, and St. Mark’s. We arrived by water taxi and stepped right into the hotel from the canal. We stayed in a family room for 3 adults. The main bed was set behind a partial wall separate from the sofa bed in the main room. The room was clean, quiet, and the bathroom shower and facilities were clean and worked well. Note for those with full-size luggage--our room was up a considerable flight of stairs, which my partner was able to drag up with the help of the front desk staff. Included at the hotel is a restaurant with excellent food. We enjoyed the pastas dining there one evening, and loved the breakfasts each morning that were included with the room. All the front desk staff and hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. I would definitely return to this hotel gem!

Incredibly helpful staff - huge bonus that we were able to leave bags there earlier than our check in time. The location is amazing - the quirky court yard , the little corner beside reception on to the Canal - cannot dream this one up.
Decent breakfast and friendly room and dining personnel
Slightly noisy air conditioner in bathroom - but so minor an issue!
