The warm welcome. Comfortable bed and great breakfast.
It took a while before we got served at breakfast. This wasn't the servers fault but the fact that only one person was serving breakfast. Once served the service was excellent, it just took time for the server to reach us.

The room was bigger than we expected which was great. The bed was so comfy, best nights sleep I've had in a long time. Everything was really clean throughout the whole place. The staff were friendly and polite and the food was fantastic. Great choices on the menu and very reasonably priced.

The staff were friendly, everywhere was nice and clean, good parking and nice choice of rose wine for me (for a change!!)
Good breakfast
Very busy road (which we are not used to). We had a room at the front and really didn’t sleep very well.
Some of our room furnishings were tired/scruffy/missing (space on the wall which had mirror written on it but no mirror!).
Nowhere to walk the dogs from/near to the hotel - road was so busy it would be dangerous!
