Property itself was great, beautiful, clean, tidy and in safe area. Doorman on the door for safety. Food in restaurant pretty good too.
We booked on Booking and said payment would be handled by hotel and could pay by credit card or cash. We went to pay and they would not accept our travel credit cards as they said they were debit cards and unless we used an actual “credit card” we would be charged an extra $109USD. We tried to use our actual bank cards from Australia that we use all the time and they would not accept these as credit cards either. We have had no problem paying with these cards at other places until we got to Santiago which was the last leg of a 4 week trip. Was not a good end to our trip so just be aware make sure you have an “actual” credit card.
