Friendly staffing lovely meals
Central heating in rooms wasn't working properly we mentioned this to a staff member who reset thermostat but still didn't work it didn't come on until the following morning when we're checking out.

The facilities were lovely and spacious. The breakfast was great, the food they serve is very tasty and homemade. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The twin beds were too small for adults to sleep in but they are comfortable. The room was spacious and the shower room was perfect for me as a disabled person. We really enjoyed meeting the local community who are very warm and welcoming.
The only thing that spoiled it was the coldness of the room. They do povide you with a fan heater but it dries out the air too much to use it a lot. We went out and purchased hot water bottles to help us with the cold.

In a lovely location, lovely oldy worldy pub, food was lovely on the evening as well, good selection of ales
The bar staff on the evening were lovely and friendly
Rooms were dated,
The duvet and pillows were lumpy and long overdue for a change
Beds were uncomfortable and the room was absolutely freezing,
There was a blow heater in the room,
Unfortunately I have chronic health conditions which these heaters exacerbate my health,
There was no blind in the bathroom,
One of the pains was clear glass, so couldn’t have a shower on the evening
Breakfast was really bad, stone cold, apart from the egg that was warm, unfortunately it was snotty and definitely should not have been served like that
the server on the morning was less than helpful, the food was clearly not cooked fresh but she was trying to argue with me to state that it was,
I wasn’t about to argue with her,
Coffee came out in a cafetière, not sure why as it wasn’t filter coffee, it was weak and no coffee grounds whatsoever,
Overall a really disappointing stay
