Fantastic hostel!!! Great location and it is staffed by lovely people who keep the place spotless. It was like staying with a big Mexican family for two weeks. Breakfast was always delicious and it was nice to have the use of the super clean well equipped kitchen. I hope to return next year to continue to work on my Spanish.

Exceptional in many ways - closeness to the historical center (about 10mins walk), but quiet, cleaniless of rooms, facilities and kitchen (staff clean every room everyday, and make my bed in a private room), cleaning staff's friendliness, picturesque hostel environment, strong WiFi signals, and absolute value for money. Probably the best hostal I've ever stayed in the 58 countries I've visited. Daily hostal activities are advertised, but I'm not sure about the uptake since there weren't many guests during my stay.
If I were to be really picky, I don't feel comfortable with disposing used toilet paper in a rubbish bin next to the toilet as it doesn't feel hygienic. However, this is to avoid toilet blockage which seems to be quite common in some cities.

A very calm place where you can relax. The breakfast was delicios and the staff was nice.
The water in the shower went cold after just a few minutes. It is cold in the evening so cold showers were not fun.

- Goed ontbijt met vers fruit. Kunnen vele duurdere hotels nog wat van leren.
- Goed bed
- Schone kamers en gedeelde ruimtes
- Vriendelijk personeel
- Gratis parkeren op terrein van het Hostel. Hou er wel rekening mee dat ze slechts plek hebben voor 3 auto’s en vol=vol
- Met 10 minuten lopen ben je in het centrum
- Wij sliepen aan de straatkant en daar hoor je ‘s nachts wel autos met harde muziek voorbij razen. Daarnaast hebben ze in San Cristobal een traditie om constant vuurwerk af te steken. Hier kan het hostel niets aan doen maar ik zou oordoppen adviseren.
