A wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas very comfortable for internet time or just hanging out with other travelers who at this hostel were more open to conversations than at some others. My onward transportation cancelled last minute and when they could not reach my cell they called the hostel. A staff member woke me around midnight to let me know the shuttle would not be there at 5am so I could sleep in. And they made sure I could extend my stay one more day.

13 Cielos, as the name says, is an absolute gem in San Cristobal. With its beautiful decoration, lush plants and quiet co working spaces, it’s got a perfect balance for work, rest but also activities such as exploring the beautiful Chiapas outdoors and cultural activities such as the Sunday jam and the Friday night family dinner at the hostel. The staff is so so lovely and makes you feel super welcome every day. I enjoyed my stay so much I stayed for a week instead of one night - hope to be back some day!

the hostel has large place to take a rest
wifi was good
only two toilets for everyone
no smoking rule wasn’t be followed, someone was smoking at the lobby which was annoying
the breakfast was simple and same for every morning
simple utensils and small area for shared kitchen
