I had a private room which was very comfortable. The murals on the walls are spectacular. The staff were very helpful and kind. The community dinner was top rate. Very welcoming and upbeat hostel. Definitely my favorite in San Cristobal.
I did enjoy my private room. But the downside is that you get wet when it's raining even though the shared bathroom is next to the room. Also the room opens onto the coworking area which is a little wierd when you're just getting up in the morning.

A wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas very comfortable for internet time or just hanging out with other travelers who at this hostel were more open to conversations than at some others. My onward transportation cancelled last minute and when they could not reach my cell they called the hostel. A staff member woke me around midnight to let me know the shuttle would not be there at 5am so I could sleep in. And they made sure I could extend my stay one more day.

the hostel has large place to take a rest
wifi was good
only two toilets for everyone
no smoking rule wasn’t be followed, someone was smoking at the lobby which was annoying
the breakfast was simple and same for every morning
simple utensils and small area for shared kitchen
