Great family stay

Rooms was spacious very much apartment style. Very good for toddlers and the beach is not to far. T-market a few minutes walk.

Breakfast could have been a little better.

The worst overpriced experience in the area

The hotel is close to the beach, the hotel maids are very nice and try to make your stay better.

If you want to start your summer with problems and having to take care of everything this is the place. I strongly advise prospective guests to explore other options in the vicinity, before settling on Galeon Hotel, as there are numerous places around with similar price tag that deliver a significantly more enjoyable and satisfying experience. Galeon is NOT a 5 star hotel. Not even 3. From the moment I arrived, I was met with series of disappointments that overshadowed any positive aspects of the hotel. Below I have described everything in details, as it was shared at reception before. But they are “very busy” there and can't do much. About the parking: (0/5 stars) 1. Everywhere from the hotel they wrote that you cannot make a reservation for the parking lot. I was surprisingly asked when I arrived if I was one of the two people who had reserved a seat in front of the hotel. Think if you know someone from the hotel, I think that's the secret. And, come with a car that costs more than 200K, otherwise better by train. 2. After I asked to unload the luggage, before moving the car (they create such a stress because of this) for which the bellman helped me, I asked where to leave the car. I was told to wait 5 minutes for the Shuttle to come and escort me to the parking lot and take me back to the hotel. While waiting for the “shuttle” to come outside I was told there would be a 15 minute delay. I asked them if they could drive my car and they said they had to call two people and it would have been more difficult. The 15 minutes turned into an hour, then the Shuttle came. A very nervous man in a 20-year-old Audi came and escorted us very furiously to the parking lot. And then it just disappeared…. They called him and he said he had a lot of work and couldn't drive us back. We were just left in some parking lot, in the evening. We walked by foot, thank goodness there is a GPS to navigate. 3. The parking lot is full of dog excrement.

Very good experience

Perfect location, only 4 minutes walk to the sea side. Really nice room. Kind staff. Quite place, no entertainment, excellent place for those who love silence. Good sauna and steam bath offer included in the price.

Chaotic room cleaning, but everything was possible to solve with the staff who were very coming towards. Each morning one type of breakfast, it wasn't level of 5 star hotel.

Very good

Most of the staff are friendly and the place is clean. Cleaners in general are very good. 2 bed apartment is spacious and ideal for us as a family of 4 - great having 2 bathrooms and large balcony.

We stayed here in 2022 and there were little things that were worse in 2023. The room we had this time was not in as good state of repair. Air con was unreliable, curtains hanging off, furniture damaged. Some staff very unfriendly. Breakfast options not as good as last year. Place was also very quiet (14-24th June) so lacked atmosphere in restaurant at night etc. pool tiles damaged and all over the side.

Great view and comfort, but make sure you have all the meals included.

The room was very large, clean, and we had all the comfort we needed, with a nice view to the pool and the playground area. We felt very safe, knowing that we could supervise the kids from the balcony, or from the restaurant, because everything was well designed so you could do that. The inside swimming pool was a little small, but it was a good thing we had it, for the rainy days.

The woman at the reception was a little grumpy, but the rest of the staff were great. Also, the restaurant was very expensive, compared to the quality they provided. The food was okish, but not for those prices. Everything around was very expensive, so if you have the chance to opt in for All-Inclusive, go for it, because otherwise, you will spend a fortune on food and beverages.

Great stay, not far from Sunny Beach.

-Complimentary wine & water. -Pool was always clean (both indoor & outdoor) -Spa was great value for money!! The Hammam treatment & massage was so relaxing. -Rooms were clean & well looked after. Looked exactly like the pictures. -Although she woke me up, housekeeping was so lovely! Very polite and cleaned super quick.

-Breakfast was always cold. No matter what time we went down. Beans/bacon/eggs/sausages/french toast....all cold :( -No 'do not disturb' sign for the door. Woken up 3 of 6 days by housekeeping. -One of our beds was broken & noises.

Great hotel, stay recommended.

Lovely spacious room. Good varied breakfast. Lovely big pool (was a bit chilly in September though). Nice spa facilities. Very close to the beach. Restaurant large and good quality food with 10% discount to hotel guests. Hotel staff very accommodating in providing a baby cot and even a baby bath for us as we had our 4 month old daughter with us for the stay. No issues extending our stay by a day.

Excessive noise from the neighbouring Cooks Club hotel was a real downside, not at all the fault of the Galeon hotel but perhaps some soundproofing could be considered for those rooms facing the pool.

Superb

I am being guest with my family for second year. The hotel is nice and got big size rooms, apartaments friendly staff some of them know from before.

There was an issue with the parking ... When made the booking it was free of charge.. When the time has come for the check out they wanted to charge me 15lev per day for their own parking??? I had a chat with the lady of the reception trying to explain no one inform me that now the parking is chargeble. It wasn't last year and she insist I do refuse to pay for it, and last year I got just some "luck" Fortunately she sow on the info no one has send me email for it. They didn't charge me. Is a shame 5 star hotel to do that with the parking. All guest paying good price for staying. Apart from that the restaurant is amazing... The cheff is famous !!!! Hotel is great with amazing claim greenery...
