The room was comfortable and clean with one exception that seemed common to all the hotels we stayed at in Portugal (see below). If you arrive on a weekend or evening, you can use a nearby public parking lot free. Otherwise, they have their own garage. The immediate neighborhood is bland, but we walked to the central area, the university, and beyond.
Common to all the hotels we stayed at in Portugal, they have not yet discovered that bleach easily removes the mildew on the sealant between the shower walls and basin.
