The staff is utterly friendly, they were so nice! The location is perfect, not far from the Hippodrome. I think the breakfast options were good, although I haven't tried most of them due to food intolerance.
Mosquito nets could be added on the windows, this was our only issue during our stay.

The breakfast was OK, Turkish style. The towels were changeddaily or by request. Every day the room was cleaned.The receptionists were very kind and opened to offer help.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the attractions we were interested in visiting.
The staff were very polite and courteous.
The parking space provided by the hotel is a couple of blocks away.
I booked two double rooms. Upon check-in, they first offered to replace them with a single room with two beds in the same room. Naturally, I declined. Then they offered a unit with two separate rooms, and I agreed. In the end, I think I understand why they were so eager to offer us this particular room.
The bathroom smelled VERY strongly of urine. VERY strongly. We had to buy cleaning products at a supermarket and get rid of the smell ourselves. The fact that guests have to do this instead of the hotel staff says a lot about the management’s attitude toward cleanliness and service.
The room itself has clearly been in need of renovation and repairs for a very long time. Judging by the condition of the air conditioners, the last proper renovation must have been at least 10 years ago.
Everything in Istanbul is very expensive, and staying at this hotel is no exception. In my opinion, the experience simply wasn’t worth the price.
