I liked this little non pretencious hotel on the centre overlooking the river and historical buildings of Bilbao. Within walking distance to the heart of the town with everything within reach. The hotel is simple but had everything we needed for a night's stay and we had a little balcony with a great view . Of course it would need a bit of a touch up but the location made up for it.

The location is just perfect to visit the city. I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel at check out and pick it up later on.
There was a coffee and tea station at the reception.
The rooms were very poorly isolated and you could hear literally everything from the other rooms and the floor.
My room was interior and quite hot. There's no air conditioning, and I had to sleep with the window open.

Situated close to many restaurants, bars (see "what didn't you like"), and the river for lovely long walks
Flat and walkable for the most part
Comfortable beds
We stayed in room 2 on the first floor; it's *directly* above a bar which closes at 2AM and has various drunk patrons voicing their opinions quite loudly until well after that. With the windows shut it's somewhat manageable to get some rest, but in warm months I'd absolutely avoid this room and probably the whole hotel.
