Central Bolzano

Great central location. Friendly staff at check in and breakfast. Nice outside area in front of hotel.

Nothing to complain about. Room a little basic but only stayed one night.

A Lovely, Traditional Home Away From Home in Bolzano

Breakfast was excellent and they remembered how we liked our coffee every morning. They were very efficient and there was a good choice of food. The location was perfect. Just around the corner from the main square. Beautiful triple pane windows and double sinks in the bathroom with plenty of pillows and towels. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was quiet and comfortable as well as spotlessly clean. Since I had a broken arm, the elevator was very welcome. I don’t know how big the double rooms were. We stayed in a Jr Suite which was spacious and light. The owners and staff went out of their way to be helpful. Our last night there had been a fun music festival. We needed a taxi to get to the train station but because of a traffic jam, none could get through. Antone, the owner, rolled both our suitcases and backpacks down to the train station for us so we wouldn’t miss our train!

There was nothing we didn’t like. We hated to leave.

Excelent stay.

The staff were excellent. Location is spot on.

Room a little on the small side. The air con appeared not to be in service. Quite noisy if you had the window open but to be expected in a city centre hotel.

Bolzano is a lively, Austrian vibe city in Italy. Worth the visit!

The hotel is in the best location for touring Bolzano. It is near the train/bus station. Also near the cable car and some of the tourist attractions.

On one of the days of our stay there, we woke up later than normal due to the long travel to Bolzano (7 hours trip). The head cleaner knocked on our door (woke us up) to ask if we want the room to be cleaned. I said yes, but after we go out for the day. It is quite weird because we were on vacation and can sleep all day if we wanted to. It only happened once out of the days we were there so I guess it was not a normal behaviour.

Very nice and clean good value for money hotel in central Bolzano, good breakfast, staff and parking

Very nice location right in Central Bolzano, above the Walther plaza. Very convenient easy to find parking (use google maps only), with discount with the hotel. We found parking all 3 days we stayed there after skiing. There is an elevator that takes you right to the hotel, if you do not find it, all exists are nearby. Many drinking and eating options nearby. Nice quiet clean rooms and very nice breakfast. Very kind staff. Even though not super cheap, it is way cheaper than other hotels in the area, and definitely worth it if you want parking, breakfast and comfortable clean rooms for a ski trip to many of the nearby slopes!

You may find a bit of traffic in the morning but that is not the hotel’s fault.

Superb

Great location right in the heart of Bolzano but it was quiet at night The staff were genuinely warm and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we set foot through the door.

We would have liked a kettle in our room so we could make tea as we are English.

Gracious Owners

The owners and staff were exceptionally gracious and helpful. Our stay at Hotel Figl was comfortable and easy. And, of course, the location was so convenient. Also, the storage in our room was more than adequate, it was easy to settle in for our eight-day stay.

fabulous sweet chic owner. nice courtyard for morning and afternoon comfy beds and extra pillows the location is easy to reach from train and bus

Superb

The location is perfect, just in the middle of a city center and very close to a train station. If you arrive early, it's possible to leave a luggage and return for a check-in later.

The location was excellent, close to everything, but quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The room was basic, but very clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Nothing- ask for a piazza or street view.

Intimate comfort in ideal location

This hotel has a small inn feel, family run, yet the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, and the location is in the center of the old town. The staff are very friendly and hard-working.

Bike trip in Alto Adige started with great stay at Figl

Excellent location. Proximity to train and bike rental was perfect.

A Jewel in the historic center

The total ambiance of genuine hospitality a n d high professional standard. The direction under Fr.Maier attentive to all one's wishes . The healthy offerings of variety for the breakfast in their charming patio surrounded by beautiful plants and trees a n d the absence of any intrusive background music very fine in our ear-assaulted times. When in Bolzano again my choice for accommodation! A stone's throw to the train station and near the Piazza Walther, auto-free with excellent dining.

One improvement only....a better air conditioning unit that is truly quiet.
