Hostal is located near Metro (University station) and Barcelona Sants train station. Quiet area, with Lidl, Aldi, Carrefour, Consum, Alcampo within a few steps walking distance. Extremely kind staff. Double glass windows. Air conditioning.

The room itself was simple but comfortable. The bathroom is shared, but that actually wasn't a problem because, when we stayed there really weren't many other guests. Everything was quite adequate, admittedly not nearly good enough to justify the price point but then Barcelona is an expensive place so maybe it just comes with the territory.
We had quite some trouble checking in due to some difficulty communicating and some bad luck with timing. I'd advise coordinating with the management well in advance, and hope that nothing goes too wrong with travel plans.
